Based in NDC’s Walnut Creek office, Iman is responsible for all new development, consulting & brokerage activities.
Iman has over 14 years of experience in the multifamily development sector with a focus in mixed-income and transit-oriented development. Prior to starting Novin Development, Iman worked at MidPen Housing as Director of Acquisitions and at BRIDGE Housing as a Project Manager in both northern and southern California.
While at MidPen, Iman lead acquisition efforts across the Bay Area, closing new deals and managing broker and investor relationships. While at BRIDGE, Iman helped secure entitlements and LEED ND certification for MacArthur Transit Village, a 675-unit master plan community in Oakland among other successful investment and development projects. Prior to BRIDGE, Iman worked in the real estate and planning divisions of Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC, now Civic San Diego) on redevelopment and affordable housing policy initiatives within the Downtown San Diego Redevelopment Project Area, as well as with Keyser Marston Associates (KMA) in their San Diego office.
Iman is active locally serving on the Walnut Creek Planning Commission and Board of Directors of the Trinity Center and Chamber of Commerce. Iman holds degrees in Structural Engineering and Urban Studies and Planning from the University of California, San Diego with honors.
Based in NDC’s Santa Cruz office, Abe is responsible for all Property Management & Investment Projects.
Abe has a keen ability to spot value in underutilized properties and has the steadfast determination to see a project through no matter what the hurdle. Abe manages NDC’s current portfolio of apartments and commercial space and is involved with investor and lender relations. Abe received his Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Leeds Polytechnic University in England. Abe is a long-time resident of Santa Cruz County and active member of the community.
Based in NDC's Walnut Creek office Moji is responsible for brokerage activities, procurement, and back office management.
Moji Shobeiri has over 30 years of experience in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship, to go along with his MBA. Moji has been a licensed Realtor with the California Department of Real Estate since 1989 and holds his Brokers license. In this capacity, he has consulted with and represented buyers and sellers locally in Contra Costa and across the Bay Area and State. He has an array of transaction experience spanning residential properties, land, business opportunities, as well as mergers and acquisitions of privately held companies.
Prior to his time in real estate brokerage, Moji held roles as a small business owner and later served as COO of a Silicon Valley fiber optics start up, helping raise $9.5M in venture capital money for early-stage R&D.
Moji has called the East Bay home for over 20 years, with a mission toward community development, building value, and giving back. His passion for community and service is evidenced by his long standing commitment to volunteer work with the Walnut Creek Trinity Homeless Center. Along with his brokerage background, Moji brings to NDC his experience with negotiating contracts, raising capital, public relations, human resources, accounting, and growth management.
Based in NDC’s Walnut Creek office, Sam is responsible for development project management, consulting & brokerage activities.
Sam is a Real Estate professional motivated by multiple-bottom line projects and smart growth development. As a development analyst, Sam works across finance and project management. As a project manager, he manages the full development life cycle of select projects including acquisition, entitlements, due diligence, feasibility analysis, consulting team management, site planning, financial modeling, and more. As a financial analyst, Sam has experience underwriting both affordable and market rate deals and understands complex affordable capital structures that rely on tax credits, State sources, local sources, and more. Sam runs market analyses, supports TOD and affordable housing consulting efforts and runs feasibility and due diligence for brokerage activities.
Prior to joining NDC, Sam was a Senior Associate at the Urban Land Institute. While at ULI, Sam managed over 60 programmatic events and oversaw multiple initiatives geared toward delivering land use expertise and real estate industry leadership. At ULI Sam had the benefit of working closely with local thought leaders at the forefront of development and land use issues in the Bay Area.
Sam graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Environmental Science and minor in Economics. He started his career in Civil and Environmental engineering and then spent a year and a half living in Barcelona before relocating to the Bay Area in 2015.
