A project initiated by a community-based faith organization to support the at-risk population, and an early example of SB4 implementation.
Novin Development Corp. (NDC) has partnered with Grace Bible Fellowship of Antioch to develop Grace Commons, an 80-unit deeply affordable permanent supportive housing project. The project is located on church property at 3415 Oakley Road in Antioch. It will provide housing and essential support services to extremely low-income individuals and families, serving as an extension of the Church’s ongoing community outreach in the County.
The project site is in a rural but rapidly developing part of Antioch. It will leverage the church’s existing services, including congregation activities, hot meals, daycare, an after-school program, a youth center, sports fields, a rehabilitation house, and seasonal programming. The site is listed in the housing element inventory as suitable for affordable housing and is zoned for high-density residential (R-35).
