The Civic Center Apartments is a 49-unit acquisition and rehabilitation project with 48 studios serving households with incomes at 30 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI) or below, with 1 one -bedroom manager’s unit.
All housing units will be funded through Homekey 3.0. Civic Center Apartments will be a permanent supportive housing project that will have on-site management and support ser vices to support the tenants who will believing in Civic Center Apartments. Insight Housing, a local Non-Profit, will be providing supportive services, and FPI Management will be the onsite property management.
Each studio will contain a Murphy bed, a kitchenette with standard appliances, and a full bathroom. The property will contain space for on-site management and ser vices staff along with indoor and outdoor community space. Off-site amenities within two miles of the project include the public library, art center, senior center, employment and training center, emergency food pantry, and the Richmond BART Station.
